Site specific work for the project “Do Not Touch, Please”. Curated by Jorge Luis Marzo and exhibited at Vitoria – Gasteiz´s Museo Artium of Contemporary Art in.
“XXX” refers to the need of maintaining anonymous pieces, authors and other persons who star the museum incidents´ book, a document which is located at the starting point of our work. The fact of not being able to touch those identities marks our first limit, our first red line. With time our work takes the form of a drawing, a diagram made up red lines through which we will realize the institutional category of the museum. In the midst of this panorama, the creative process stirs itself searching for the possibility of transgression but at the same time complying with a script already known: that of an “institutional critique” subjected to a style that bears the very same name.
