5 political leaders or 5 dictators. The characteristic that they have in common is that they are the people who are responsible for the most deaths in the past twentieth century. The dictators feed on their own ideology until they end up destroying themselves, making themselves disappear. They either disappear or they are made to disappear. Using mosaics of their own images, each dictator is in turn tinted in red by his own image for each one of the millions of deaths that he is responsible for. The resulting mosaic triggers the following, more diluted mosaic of himself. This process repeats itself in the image of each political leader as many times as the years that they were in power.
The national anthem of their respective countries plays during the time it takes for each dictator to disappear. Every sound and image represents the suffering of those who had to endure their rule.
